I placed an order for Battlefield Stories #1 and War Stories #2 for HoS using the "Preorder North America" link from a Devil Pig e-mail. I ordered both from the link location "Kolossal Games" for $45.99 incl. shipping using PayPal. Then 12 days later I received notice from PayPal that I had been refunded $35.56 from Devil Pig Games? What is the issue? Are these still ordered since I didn't get a full refund? Have other North American buyers had this issue?

Sorry I read your message incorrectly. The Gamefound refund via Paypal concerns Heroes of the Pacific and not your order on the Kolossal site. So for your Kolossal order everything is ok. For Heroes of the Pacific we found the solution and will publish an update on KS and Gamefound today or next Monday.

They normally answered you via the ticket system stating that the estimated arrival of your pre-order was expected in October. Tell me if you need anything else?

Hello, has anyone ever received a response from Kolossal? I placed an order but never received a confirmation and its sat in Processing. Their Customer Care ticketing system seems to default to request a Game Piece? There's no order update option? I have sent an email to their support Email address which has bounced back, besides others here and on social media have suggested that requests for information have fallen on deaf ears. I take it people have actually received orders they've placed with this company? My order is only small, its not a preorder and its not a kickstarter, its [Redacted] if anyone can help

I assume you mean DPG's system? If you mean Kolossal then posting it here is going very round-about trying to get stuff done.

Never post an order number in a public forum. You are leaving yourself vulnerable to someone else redirecting your order.


If you used DPG's ticket system then please forum mail me with the info so I can pass it on to DPG.


If you have not used DPG's ticket system, the please do so. You can put the relevant info in that ticket. Use the Online Store option

Kolossal is very difficult to deal with – their communication (or lack thereof) is maddening. I wish the Piggies would have selected someone else to work with for North American orders, but there you go. The problem is, they don't send you an email when you place an order or when they ship an order; nothing. You don't know until you get charged that the order was even successful. You don't know the order has been shipped until it arrives at your door. No way to track it.


You have also discovered their horrid ticket system – great if you want to order a game piece; terrible if you want help with anything else. I did eventually receive a response from a ticket and if I want to get ahold of them now, I just send a direct email to support using that email address. It's very painful.


However, you will eventually get your stuff. I have never had an issue with that, outside of one time getting the wrong item, but they made that right too. So, I would say they will get the job done, but the lack of communication is just a poor way of conducting business.

Many thanks for taking the time to respond. I had a bounce back from the support email address which alarmed me slightly, but DPG have been really good in their communication.


I do understand these are small businesses, there's limited resource to go around but I think there is definitely room to work smarter not harder here as you suggest with automated emails and appropriate ticketing.


I provided some feedback that hopefully will be received positively, this is such a good game, just got to keep improving the experience

I did eventually hear from Kolossol, and I think my pre-order is in their system – I won't know for sure for a while longer.
