Frontovik inactive side
Frontovik inactive side Posted on [26/04/2023] à 20:16

Hi! I am a relative old HON player, but recently arrived to HOS, so I'm confused about the meaning of the inactive side of frontovik counters (the one with the red star inside a crater).

cheers

It is the same as when you flip over a light vehicle when it takes a hit.

Actually, I was incorrect before.

A Frontovik unit does not have an "active" or "inactive" side. That applies only to units like Scouts or MG units, which have abilities that change state.

Most units have 2 "wounds" — they start on their unwounded side, but when they suffer a hit the swap to their wounded side.

Frontovik units have only 1 wound. That is why the have the "hit destroys the unit" icon in their lower-right corner. So if they are hit the unit is destroyed. That is sort of how light vehicles work, but they have the "flip on wound" icon on their unwounded side, and a wreck on the other. They are also destroyed with 1 hit, but they leave a wreck behind.
