It is really annoying that I receive an email from DPG telling me the CAEN set is on sale on the store and would i like to buiy it, when I have not yet received my package in the UK which I paid for last year. Kickstarter funders provided the finance for this to happen but seem to be behind commercial and financial demands. HOP, nah not backing that when I am treated like this.

I am sorry you are upset with the speed of UK fulfillment, as a US backer I have nothing but sympathy for having to wait while others play the game. However, I do not have any sympathy for being upset by this.

The UK fulfillment is not handled by DPG's EU fulfillment center (which I think is their EU warehouse, but I could be wrong). Instead, a separate set of product was sent to Zatu in the UK. This is for many reasons (shipping/customs issues and cost). So, how long it takes to get the product through UK customs and into Zatu's warehouse and then sorted/packaged/shipped is independent of what happens in the EU. Be glad you are not in the US, where the last campaign took MONTHS before the product finally arrived at the fulfillment center and then Funagain took months to get the stuff out the door.

DPG has always put stuff on sale in the EU once EU shipment is completed, and all shipping issues have been addressed (once the "extra product" is no longer needed to deal with shipping damage, etc.). After all, there is no guarantee in a DPG campaign that you will get your product before anyone can purchase the stuff in retail. Instead, you get a big discount on the cost of what you get and a better rate for shipping compared to buying it from DPG's webstore. Sorry if that came as a surprise for you, but that is hardly news for DPG kickstarters.

Nothing from Zatu games. Not even an email saying Caen kickstarter has been dispatched.

Anyone know which carrier Zatu using

I have a message from DPD local saying they have delivered a parcel to a strange address

It lists contexts as air pump though?!

Still no comms or product from ZATU, did they confirm the end of which week they were talking about? Please just a realistic delivery date, is that really a big ask?

Unfortunately this is probably the best Kickstarter for physical product that i have been on recently, and together with the absolute disregard for their backers and from others like Mythic games, Monolith and Lazy Squire Games and is the reason i will no longer be supporting any physical kickstarters in the future.

US backer waiting here as well. Unfortunately the slow delivery and poor / no communication is normal with this company. I’ve never not received a reward… but they are slowwwwww. The couple times I’ve had damaged or missing components, they’ve been dealt with effectively (over the course of a couple months).

My friend Rod got a text the other day saying his CAEN package will be delivered on Monday but so far I haven't heard anything, nothing, not a thing
