Because I can never leave well enough along when I'm enthused by a game, I'm interested in fan-generated units or tiles.

I'm doing my research on the First Special Service Force and their charismatic commander, Col. Robert Frederick.

It seems fairly evident that "regular" Recruitment Tiles are at the Platoon level and customized to reflect the particular organization and equipment of the unit in question.

So my real question in this case is: are there any tips, tricks, or best practices that I should employ when embarking upon this?

I'm always happy to learn from those who have already been down this path…
