[Omaha] Errors in Mission 2 Setup

Hi to everyone HSTS'ers;

I write here again because I started a rush to spot all the misprints in my copies of the game and its expansions…


And unfortunately I spotted another misprint that is very annoying in the

Bloody Omaha expansion set mission 2.


It is foundable in the army setup scheme of the german player…


The scenario presents events and one of these states that the german troops surrounded by a blue line have to enter as reinforces or similar…

BUT…

Such units and recruitment options have been "substituted" by the US INITIAVITE icon / marker…

The "US RANGER military crest" icon and also the german army "name" is half barred out by a white line that makes that name hardly readable…


So… Minor issues… But, nonetheless, very pesky indeed and which need to be May someone tell us all which are the correct troops and recruitment options to be placed there and used when the scenario demands to ?!?

I have no idea what happened to that section, but it was not that bad when we looked it over for issues. The slot occupied by an oversized Initiative Token was the 7.5CM Group. The header was not scrambled either.


I will take the hit for the The Feldkommando haing a US rather than German Bluff Command Option. That one I missed. The rest of them were not present in the review copies of the document.

I took the effort to photograph both the actual printed English and French booklets.


These are the errors in the German Recruitment in Scenario 2 of Bloody Omaha (p.19). Note that there are different errors in each language version.


English Booklet:

• Row 1, Command Tile: American Bluff Orders Option: Should be German Bluff Orders Option (Cosmetic Error, see above)

• Row 1, Command Tile: Rangers Badge: Should be Panzer II Luchs (see above)

• Row 2, Festingskompagnie: American Initiative Marker: Should be 7.5 CM Group (see above)

• Header Background should be green (Cosmetic Error)



French Booklet:

• Row 1, Command Tile: American Bluff Orders Option: Should be German Bluff Orders Option (Cosmetic Error, see above)

• Row 1, Command Tile: Rangers Badge: Should be Panzer II Luchs (see above)
