You are welcome about adding the italian army (hopefully without racistical artworks or stupid characters like super Mario or such). I am italian and I' d like to have the chance to buy a North African theater boxed expansion set which has to include italian paratroopers of the Folgore, the mythical Rommel and his troops of tanks, the Ranke paratroopers, the italian meharists, the british and Montgomery along with some Anzac and Indian troops that fought in north Africa. I'd like also to have some new desert rats/long range recons for the british army: today you have to buy the Desert Wrath SoN expansion, if you want to add them to the collection, and I dislike this. I also would like to see "a blister or two" expansion which should be like the Level Up blisters, but instead of skills to add, it should have into it the light blue colored tokens representing weapons and Items that can be used by the characters with the level up recruiting tiles itself added to them… Like the bazooka, the sten gun, the flamethrower and the Luger pistol or such…

The IS2 is a bit "late" for Stalingrad, assuming you mean the IS-2 Model 1943, which did not start showing up in numbers until February 1944 (from what I have seen anyway).

If you mean the version with the D-25T, That was second half 1944 so even later.

I wonder if the really slow rate of fire is enough to warrant modeling at the scale of HSTS games.

but everything started with a rework of a original commander tile i modified to fit with the new factions. and ofc (or at least this was a goal for me) to add new strategy depth / new mechanics like i did it with the battleships

I played it some time ago, adapting it to a Burma scenario. so I didn't use the suicidal bombers, but the banzai troops were dreadfull!

I also adapted the armoured car to a police vichy vehicle, to use with civilians under fire.

amazing work! I love the horse rider japanise officer, fine touch.

i guess ill bring first a mini expansion for heroes of stalingrad as i wont have time atm for a big expansion like iwojima which took me i think 3 month or so^^

i have already a few ideas in mind for the eastern front even if one unit is already known from the festung deutschland expansion 😉
