I received my Age of Towers kickstarter in Arizona today. While it is well packed, there is a small pack of cards hiding in the packing. Be sure to empty the box!

Cards!!! What cards?

I ran my hands through the packaging and must have missed them!


Can anyone tell me what I might be missing… 😥

…and more importantly, how I might be able to get them.


…holy crap…how about taping the loose stuff to the one big thing or at least worn people!

I am not sure who it applies to… I had a Fortress level pledge. But the moment I spotted that I headed here to warn people…only to find the warning already posted 😉

Yeah, I got the Fortress.

So, what are these cards?


I wish someone had posted it on BGG, oh well.

I did post a warning last night after reading the warning here.

But I only came to this forum because rule questions are not being answered on BGG.


Now begins the tedious task of figuring out what if anything is missing and trying to get the matter straightened out with the company. [1st world problems.]

Can anyone else confirm which set of cards this exactly was? Was it the 'Mountain Spirits' mini expansion? Or where it those Dark Elf cards? I'm trying to buy a Fortress Pledge from someone and want to find out if that pledge is complete. 😉

I have two sets of Dark Spell Cards. These belong with the Dark Elves set.


On the Kickstarter page for Age of Towers, update 95 is a list of content.


The Fortress pledge list mentions :


Monster pack Dark Elves + Errata of cards that had a drying problem


I guess that explains why a second loose pack of cards was added to the big shipping box along with the shrinkwrapped boxes that made up the pledge.


I do not really notice any disturbing differences in the print quality of either set. Anybody else ended up with a bad set of prints?

I bought my Fortress Pledge today and noticed there's a 'Buildings Stretch Goals' box and a regular 'Building Set'. What's the difference? The KS Buildings don't have any cards… is that correct?

There is one building set included in the Fortress pledge.

Another building set comes with the stretch goals.


For each of these buildings there should be a quest card with the word "building", the name of the building as card title plus corresponding image and the explanation of the building's effect.

Card reference numbers in bottom right corner on the cards.
