June 1944 :

American observers spotted an abandoned bunker close to the beach. A Godsend, just perfect to use as a solid defense position and expand operations from there. An assault group is sent to capture and secure it at once.

Horrified, the German high command notice a gaping hole in their defense line: one outlying bunker has been left ungarrisoned. It must not fall into enemy hands and, once taken, shall be of great use to thwart their actions to form a bridgehead beyond the beach. Without delay several units are dispatched to take up positions in the bunker.

Soon both sides are locked in battle and ask for reinforcements. Then things get worse…
