Good evening,
I take the pen tonight to inform you of what some already know. I’m no longer part of Devil Pig Games because of this difficult situation.
First and foremost, I want to thank Yann and Clem for giving me the opportunity and the chance to get into the game world. Without them, I may have abandoned my professional reconversion, but they trusted in me and I hope I have returned it to them to the best. Through these 4 years of madness, there have been good and bad times, but there have been especially magical moments! Whether it’s the Kickstarter for Shadows over Normandy that allowed me to work with the help of the backers, some of whom are still here, 4 years later, or the shows where I met you or the many Thursday night playtests and its fits of laughter. With them, I could be trained on InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. I will not be there without them.
In a second time, I thank Alex and Oliv, the illustrators / graphic designers behind most illustrations of Devil Pig Games. They have always been there to bridge the gap between generations, to support us, to advise us, to teach us. They gave another vision, the necessary calm when we were in the storm.
In a third time, it is the turn of the friends: the beta-testers, moderators who allowed DPG to be DPG, the present as the those who went out, the visible ones as the invisible ones. Guys, thank you: Bart, Bob, Guillaume, Juju, Lee and the Aftermath Gaming Club, Luc, Moomer, Quentin, Seb, Wax and everyone I could forget!
Finally, it is you too, you who read this message, I say thank you, because you were sources of amounts of emotions, the worst to the best, but I keep only the best 😀 messages full of honesty, criticism or not, to messages of support and love; grumpies to those capable of understanding, and so on. I cohabited for 4 years with your questions, your misunderstandings, your criticisms and your joys 🙂
Now, it’s a new adventure that begins, that of layout designer. Some know it, but I was in training this summer to certify my skills on different softwares and I got an excellent rating on InDesign. I am now looking for an internship to perfect my layout skills and then come back in the universe of games!
But I will never be far from the forum 😉 I remain a fan of the Heroes System, Kharnage and Age of Towers and you will be able to find me regularly in the game events or in the gaming places of Paris!
[Addendum] I will continue to help Yann and Clem as a volunteer, like Nostradunwich 😉 So, don’t be surprised if I answer to your emails.

J’ai encore en mémoire cette petite partie d’initiation sur SoN à une heure indue de la nuit lors des Asmodays 2015 alors que les «kharnage !» resonnaient à la table voisine.
Soit, je me suis pris une branlée… mais dans la bonne humeur…

Merci Axel pour tout ce que tu as fait! Tu étais parmi les premiers visages de la grande famille DPG que j’ai pu rencontrer lorsque je suis venu chercher mon KS strategic ressuply rue Croulebarbe. J’espère que nous aurons encore l’occasion de te revoir lors des divers festivals ainsi que chez les pigs. Je te souhaite tout le meilleur pour la suite.

Hello, je ne t ai vu qu une fois c était à octogone. Mais j’avais pris beaucoup de plaisir à discuter avec toi sur le développement de desert wrath. Je n’oublierai pas la campagne ks de Son, dont le but ultime était ton embauche chez les cochons. Je te souhaite bien entendu le meilleur dans ta nouvelle vie. À bientôt !

Mon cher Axel, ça a toujours été un plaisir de te rencontrer, lors des festivals, ou chez les cochons, quand je venais chercher des KS ou autres. La tête dans le guidon, mais toujours le sourire. Comme Mercredi dernier pour HOBR. Et encore ce dimanche à l’OPJH.

Je sais pouvoir compter sur toi pour pouvoir continuer à discuter et échanger sur Shadows over Normandie.
Et je n’oublierai pas que c’est toi qui, un soir d’été, a entrouvert la porte qui me permet de vivre cette formidable (et exigeante) aventure aujourd’hui.
Tu sais où me trouver pour une bière ou pour un barbecue à la campagne (les deux n’étant pas exclusif :P).
